CWS-25 Closed System Cleaner
Product Description and ApplicationsCWS-25 is a liquid alkaline silicated cleaner designed for cleaning closed hot/cold water systems. CWS-25 is safe on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. CWS-25 will clean sludge, dirt, and concentrated solids but will not dissolve waterscale. This is not an acid product.

Use Instructions: Add 1 gallons CWS-25 to every 50 gallons of water in the closed system. Circulate for at least 6-8 hours and flush the entire system. If the system cannot be drained and flushed allow the system to bleed manually and make up with automatic fill system. CWS-25 will clean sludge, dirt and concentrated solids within the closed system. After cleaning with CWS-25, add 1 gallon of CWS-100 (Closed System Treatment) to every 100 gallons so water in the system to insure proper corrosion protection.
In Case of Contact:
Caution: Keep out of the reach of children. Alkaline liquid. Do not take internally. Do not allow to come in contact with acids. Do not get on skin, in eyes or on clothing. Do not freeze. Keep container closed when not in use.
Eyes: Wash with water for 15 minutes and get prompt medical attention.
Skin: Immediately flood the surface with water.
Clothing: Immediately remove and wash. Follow instructions for skin contact. When handling: Wear safety glasses or safety goggles and rubber gloves.

To ensure quality control and assurance, all blending is controlled under ISO 9002 standards. Each individual batch is rigorously tested for conformance with product and industry specifications prior to storage, packaging, or shipment. This laboratory analysis is thoroughly conducted by Additives Inc. A Certificate of Analysis for each lot is produced and is available to customers.

It is always necessary to confirm that your products meet the required specifications. Additives Inc.'s laboratory and chemists are available to test products containing Additives Inc.'s Add Paks as a complimentary service. In this way, Additives Inc. can help you to establish or confirm your quality control and assurance program. However, we will not warranty any Additives Inc.'s product if the blending procedure is not properly followed and/or if the glycol being used contains impurities that do not allow the final product to meet the minimum ASTM standards.
