Alkaline Coil/Fin Cleaner Get the Alkaline Coil/Fin Cleaner(Adobe PDF) Product Description and Applications Alkaline Coil/Fin Cleaner is a special blend of effective ingredients designed to penetrate and remove built-up grease, dirt and oxidation from finned coils, cleaning in one step. Alkaline Coil/Fin Cleaner DOES NOT CONTAIN ACID. Product Benefits Economical - mix one part Alkaline Coil/Fin Cleaner to five (5) parts water. High foaming for faster penetration. Cleans and brightens coils in one step. Safer than acid cleaners. Product Specifications Color Pinkish-red liquid Specific Gravity 1.135-1.145 pH 13.80-13.95 Odor Alkaline Solubility in Water Complete Biodegradable Yes Proper Use for Health and Safety Use Instructions & Operation Procedures: 1. Protect eyes and skin with appropriate safety items. 2. Mix one part Alkaline Coil/Fin Cleaner to five (5) parts water. 3. Spray Alkaline Coil/Fin Cleaner solution into coils and allow approximately a ten minute contact time for best results. 4. Rinse thoroughly. Material Safety Alkaline Coil/Fin Cleaner is safe on most metals when used as directed. Will attack galvanized or other soft metals when used undiluted, especially when surfaces are hot. Pretest for safest use of product. CAUTIONS: CONTAINS HIGH-ALKALINE INGREDIENTS. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. This product contains organic cleaners and inorganic dispersants. Wear goggles and protective clothing. Do not breathe mist. For external contact, flush with water for 10 minutes. If taken internally, drink large amounts of water and seek medical attention. For eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes and seek immediate medical attention. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. Technical Support It is always necessary to confirm that your products meet the required specifications. Additives Inc.'s laboratory and chemists are available to test products containing Additives Inc.'s Add Paks as a complimentary service. In this way, Additives Inc. can help you to establish or confirm your quality control and assurance program. However, we will not warranty any Additives Inc.'s product if the blending procedure is not properly followed and/or if the glycol being used contains impurities that do not allow the final product to meet the minimum ASTM standards.
