Additives Inc. is currently broadening the nomenclature of its product
line. This name change will more accurately reflect each specific product
line while strengthening the particular identities of each product. The
application of these names will further define the uses and distinctions
of each add pak line.
- VGAP is an acronym for Virgin Glycol Add Pak suggesting, but not limited to use with virgin glycol.
- RGAP stands for Recycled Glycol Add Pak, pertaining to recycled glycol usage and the specific needs of using recycled glycol.
- ELAP is an acronym for Extended Life Add Pak.
- SCA is a Supplemental Coolant Additive that can be used with any of these families of add pak. The standard version of SCA is labeled SCA-700 whereas the high nitrite version is SCA-800.
