TCEG-1000 Ethylene Glycol Based Toilet Chemical Product Description and Applications TCEG-1000 is a ready-to-use, all-season product for filling compartmentalized toilet systems, including most chemical toilets whether portable land-based toilets or toilets on trains, aircraft, and boats. It is based on ethylene glycol and contains a dye and ingredients for odor control, bacterial control, and corrosion inhibition. Since no mixing is required, TCEG-1000 provides consistently effective performance without the risk of errors arising from a dilution or mixing process. Freeze protection is provided down to -35°F at a dilution of 50/50 with water. As for any toilet waste solutions, approval must be obtained from local and possibly state authorities before dumping to a municipal treatment system. Ethylene glycol has been classified as a hazardous material by the US EPA and DOT. Shipments of 5,000 pounds of more in one container must be placarded, and spills of 5,000 pounds or more must be immediately reported to the appropriate regulatory agency in your area. General Use Instructions After emptying and servicing a toilet, simply recharge with ready-to-use TCEG-1000. No measuring or mixing is required. TCEG-1000 can be used throughout the year. Caution: Wear goggles and protective clothing. Avoid contact with eyes or prolonged skin contact. If contact occurs, wash eyes with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
