INDUSTRIAL CLEANING PRODUCTS

Additives Inc.’s industrial cleaning products are based on leading-edge technology developed in our laboratories. These products provide superior performance for cleaning a broad range of dirt and soils, but minimize or eliminate most of the disadvantages associated with products currently on the market that are regarded as truly effective. Most of these products are based on strong acids, harsh caustics, and solvents such as glycol ethers, all of which are hazardous and present personnel exposure, environmental, and regulatory problems. Others contain d-Limonene and terpenes, which contain significant volatile organic components (VOCs) and are very expensive.

Our cleaning products are based on an amazingly effective proprietary mixture of non-hazardous sufactants. Most have a low level of aggressiveness to human skin, contain no excess caustics or acids, contain no solvents or VOCs, and are not subject to regulation by the DOT, EPA, SARA, or CERCLA. Our cleaners will not harm most plastics, fabrics, or glass, and our General Purpose Cleaner will not dull most paints nor darken aluminum.

Although the products are relatively friendly to people, construction materials and the environment, they are tough on dirt. Their superior effectiveness as cleaners is due in large part to their impressive versatility. The cleaners will remove both oil-soluble and water-soluble soils, including organic and inorganic matter, oil, grease, grime, soot, and exhaust stains, road film, and much more.

Alkaline Aluminum Cleaner and Brightner can be used to both clean and brighten aluminum in one step. Its unique combination of ingredients includes a powerful surfactant system that effectively cleans grease, oil, and grime; and descalants to remove scale and oxidation.

Amazing Ink Remover is a safe and effective ink and stain remover. It is especially effective for use on dry cleaning and laundry spotting boards as a remarkably versatile stain and spot remover, either before or after articles are processed. It is compatible with dry cleaning solvents and laundry chemicals.

Fast 'N Safe Ink and Stain Remover represents a new generation of cleaning products. Fast 'N Safe is remarkably effective on a wide variety of stains and soils, but does not present the significant safety and environmental problems associated with most other products available today.

General Purpose Heavy-Duty Cleaner/Degreaser is a safe and highly effective all-purpose degreaser and cleaner. It instantly removes stains, lubricants, grease, and the most stubborn oil and dirt from practically any washable surface.

GraffitiGone™ combines a unique and powerful solvent used in the electronics and aerospace industries with other proprietary ingredients. The result is a product that removes all types of paints and permanent markers from most hard surfaces including metals, marble, tile, smooth and rough concrete, cement, cinder block, Plexiglas, and hard painted surfaces.

Locomotive Cleaner™ takes an entirely new approach to cleaning. Additives Inc. innovative chemistry provides a product that outperforms the leading national heavy duty industrial cleaner in every type of cleaning job tested. Locomotive Cleaner does not contain caustics, acids or volatile organic compounds, such as glycol ethers, d-limonene or terpenes. It is mild in terms of aggressiveness toward human tissue and has very low odor and vaporization levels, minimizing the problem of worker exposure to fumes. It is biodegradable and contains no ingredients regulated by DOT

MSDS Green is a safe and highly effective all-purpose degreaser and cleaner. Originally developed for SEPTA, MSDS Green contains an additional ingredient to remove animal and human skin oils. In addition, it instantly removes stains, lubricants, grease, and the most stubborn oil and dirt from practically any washable surface.

Natrual Gas Dehydrator System Cleaner is a unique product specially formulated to remove scale, sludge, and organic fouling from heating coils, vessel walls, and horizontal surfaces in dehydrator systems. It also helps to clean inside surfaces in pipelines and pumps.

One-Step Rail Car Cleaner™ was specifically formulated for removing the types of dirt commonly found on locomotives, coal hopper cars, box cars, and tank cars. Rail Man's Hand Cleaner™ removes grease, oil, asphalt, tar, and adhesives like a solvent, but contains no solvents or hazardous ingredients of any kind. Its fast-acting formula is tough on dirt but gentle on hands.
